Hi Simon!! We want to say a huge thank you to you for your amazing service at our wedding "Ben and Toni (12/11/2011). We were so happy with your service in SO many ways. You really helped to make our event. You were more like a wedding planner than just a caterer. A little joke amongst us was when I (Toni) would say Simon says...implying we should probably do it. From the DJ to the lighting, the very stylish Florence Broadhurst print cushions, ostrich feather arrangements, hire furniture and timing of the day -if you said it we put a lot of weight on your advice. You inspired confidence from the beginning and even went beyond our high expectations of you. Great work on the position for the beach and the set up, the styling and the little touches like taking notice of the bride as she emmerged from her room and taking the time for some gentle words of advice for the day. You were responsive, prompt and meticulous in addressing our requirements at every step of the way. The food was spectacular. It was fresh, tasty, and so well presented. Your "food moments" were so well considered and kept interest throughout the day. You and the chef as you said added a theatrical touch and your talented friendly staff added the finishing touches to those little food experiences. Thank you so much Simon. You are an inspiration. We have finally settled back into real life after our lovely break & wedding in Byron & honeymoon in Bali & we wanted to say a HUGE thankyou to you & your team for all you did for us on our wedding day. You were very helpful with the planning of our menu & we are so happy we went with the canapes & noodle bar. Thankyou for all your help with the organising. You were such a pleasure to deal with & made the whole process easy & uncomplicated. The food was absolutely delicious. We had so many great comments on the day & everybody really enjoyed it. From the mezze platter & the canapes, to the delicious noodle bar & the dessert selections. Everything was fantastic! Your staff on the day were absolutely amazing. They were so lovely, friendly, helpful & professional. From bringing extra drinks down to our bridal party on the beach while we had photos taken, to giving breadsticks from the mezze platter to the Mum's with small children. One of your team members had to remind me to have dessert so that I could try my wedding cake & I'm so glad she did. I was so caught up with guests on the day that I would have missed it. Hi Simon, I want to thank you for your addition to our very special day. Over a month on and our friends and family are still raving about the food and service. Everyone we have spoken to have said that it was one of the best weddings they have been to, with the most delicious food they've ever had at a wedding. One friend asked if you had a cookbook as she'd love to replicate your fish and lamb! You were more than just our caterer, you gave us much needed advice on running schedule, event planning and styling. Your suggestions were invaluable and really added to the theme and ambiance of the wedding. From the celebratory cocktail after our ceremony, the market umbrellas on the lawn, lighting and seating suggestions and menu selection, you really helped us style the wedding we hoped for. Your wait staff were absolutely delightful. I really appreciated their attention to us. My glass was never empty, and they saved us some of the mezze offerings that were served whilst we were off having our photos taken. The only regret I have of the day is not eating more of your divine food. Mum and I have already suggested you to friends who are planning weddings. We could not have been happier with your service. Hi Simon, Now that the dust has settled and we slip into married life, I wanted to send you and your staff a HUGE thank you for being so completely wonderful on our wedding day and throughout the whole process. Given that the weather was nothing short of atrocious, the staff were simply brilliant: every guest has commented on their friendliness, efficiency and graciousness - not to mention keeping the food dry from the torrential rain! We always had a fresh glass of bubbles and were discreetly brought plates of food when needed - it is easy to forget to eat when the centre of attention. Both of our families were also taken care of so well, my mother is singing your praises still. The canapes were divine - delivered in a timely fashion and everyone was served. I did note the hoards on attack at the main marquee entrance, kudos to your team for diverting to another doorway so all could enjoy. The beetroot tartlets were a hit. I am so glad we chose the Moroccan Food Station - perfect for such inclement weather. We loved that you themed the serving table and again all of our guests were more than impressed, as were we. In short, you were a lifesaver. Calling the absent band, getting me a massage, assisting with the decorations - I am truly grateful. The rain was enough to spike my stress levels but you were an excellent calming influence. Simon, I now know why your reputation is so good. So do all of our guests. Lastly, I think you're tops! Dear Simon, I can't believe it has already been over a month since our wedding. I finally just got a hold of Stephen's photo's, and it brought it all back in a big way... I wanted to say thank you so much for the perfect evening you served up for Justin & I, and all our guests. We had so many compliments on the food. Lucie and Michael were just fantastic, (I didn't have an empty glass the whole night!) and once again, our guests complimented, this time the service - they were just brilliant. I also wanted to thank Jeremy (nice clean dishes!!) even though I didn't get it meet him. The only down point to the whole evening, was that we didn't get to feast on all the canapes during the photos.. If I had a suggestion to anyone getting married having you as their caterer, it would be that if they have the time, have an early ceremony, get the photo's done, then mingle with your guests and enjoy your food (and drink of course!). So thank you for saving some of the delights when we arrived back from the photo's. The rest of the meal was divine, delicious, right on cue - you obviously know your stuff! We want to wish you and EatDrink the best of luck with your business, although something tells me you won't be needing it.

Dear Simon, Steve & I would like to thank you for helping us create a magical and memorable dinner party to celebrate Steves 50th birthday. Moving up to the house was a beautiful setting to walk into the table looked fantastic, the lighting, music and the house itself created the exact feel we were going for The dinner served was delicious. Your recommendation to have it banquet style was spot on. There was no rush, between dishes we all got to move around and talk to different people and everyone went back to their seats at their leisure to help themselves to more food. Food presentation was terrific and each dish was explained in detail by your staff to smaller groups around the table rather than the whole table having to stop conversation and listen as one. Dinner service gave justice to the fabulous food you had prepared. Overall the service was executed with style. I received many comments from my friends that night regarding the food and service most were amazed at the professionalism and knowledge of your staff. The debrief the next day and from the week that has just passed I think can be summed up by one of our friends who said normally when I tell people about a great night weve had, I embellish a little this night needed no embellishment. It was perfect. Steve & I wont be able to top this night (nor will we try!)

Launch of the new VW Golf George P. Johnson recently staged a large scale corporate event at the very exclusive Emerald Valley Villas, in the Byron Bay hinterland. The food and beverage component of this event required the skill and creativity of a top class catering company. From the inception, Eat Drinks proprietors Simon was a pleasure to deal with. His professionalism and friendliness made the job a lot easier. In our planning stages, Simon had great suggestions and options, ensuring we could deliver the best possible event for our client. Across the two days of our event, Simon and the whole team operated extremely professionally and efficiently. It was clear that their over arching concern was to help us make a great and enjoyable event for our client. Despite several last minute changes, including a much tighter time frame on the day, Eat Drink delivered the same wonderful,high quality food and service. Absolutely nothing was ever too much trouble for the team, even under considerable pressure. The finished product was always delivered with a sense of humour and a smile. Our client and their guests were extremely happy with the catering over the two days, and were blown away by the overwhelming freshness and quality of the food. In addition, Eat Drinks presentation of all food and beverage was impeccable, and really added that extra special touch to the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending Eat Drink for any event where catering quality and professionalism needs to be of the highest standard!
